Well thanks for everybody who tried to help me, EXCEPT the official support, who, after a few useless attempts to help, simply stopped answering.
Things are pretty much in the same state.
There has been some progress when I had uninstalled all the codecs and reinstalled, but now any media file file again crashes BS Player, erasing the preferences file does not help either.
Guess what I use DivX Player and Windows Media Player again and although those are free they work.
