The default VCD encoding standard is selected as "PAL" in Nero. I didn't change it. Don't know which incompatibility has occured. Some of other PAL VCDs total length are displayed different with a few seconds more by my DVD player (stand-alone, connected to TV).
Meanwhile, opening VCD files (DAT + mpeg) requires a huge paging time to operate, the drive lens flashes a lot of times before the track comes out to play though the lens and CD is high quality and clean.
