BSplayer is compatible with almost every Windows version from (98 and up, probably some functions, such as Audio CD support, are not working on 98/ME versions)
It should install without problems on Vista, have you tried latest release available
here? try to right-click on BSplayer installer and choose "Run as administrator"
Does an error message appear on screen or it just doesn't get installed?
