So, the conclusion? :) I'm not keen on changing my decoder because of that little difference. Because it can also decode MPEG-2, whereas default MPEG-1(quartz.dll) decoder cannot.
However, for the first problem (wrong video dimension), is the answer based on video files (DAR,PAR,SAR issue) which Tizio described well? Or will BSPlayer have an option to run video in dimension that is actually labeled...
