BSPlayer can decode MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 with the right codecs/filters installed
and for DVD Support...you need to decrypt VOB files...licenced technology which cost money to implant (RIAA...)

BS Player use codec to decode MPG files, if the result is faulty then it's the codec fault, not the player :p try using another MPG decoder
