I solved the same problem before.
AFAIK
bsPlayer supports only Winamp 2.x plugins. So I installed
DFX for Winamp 2
into bsPlayer plugins directory and it works fine. btw: nowadays I use
Enhancer
as it suits more my movie audio needs ;)
