I have the same problem with HTTP Live Streams from a different app. These streams are hosted on the Akamai CDN. They are launched with the .m3u8 extension and typically contain several different resolutions/bitrates.
As soon as I switch from one stream to a different stream, or switch to a different app and then return to BS Player and the same stream, the steam will freeze and no longer be usable. I'll typically have to watch the rest of the event on a different stream/resolution.
It happens both with live streams and VoD streams. Both with HTTP Live Streaming protocol.
It's repeatable and happens every time. It would be great if there was a way to 'reset' the stream in the app.
