Did anything ever become of this? I've noticed this for years, and it still happens (Win7 and Win8). Like you, in splitter.ax. I use avis and mp4s.
I like to use the "." button to advance, but always have to do so very carefully (not too many too soon!) or Bsplayer will crash. It seems so unnecessary.
