Same happened to me. Both BsPlayer and Filehippo says that a new version is available. You download the installer which version is 267.1076 but you get installed the 266.1075 version of BsPlayer, the same old software but with a new installer.
They haven't worked at BsPlayer for a long time but they needed to promote their new useless toolbar somehow so they say that there is an update.
Nod32 is completely blocking the installation flaging it as Adware.
