have windows users been abandon?
 

it doesn't feel like any response is going to the windows section of bsplayer forums anymore, is it abandon? as it's not been updated in over 2 years now, do you still feel it proper to charge people for unmaintained and undeveloped software?


if your not going to fix the issues for the windows version of bs player (because we where using windows BS player long before android) please stop charging people for it, and release the code for opensource development as i'm sure there's someone out there that can add modern up-to-date codec support for things like H265 (the very reason BS player for windows is dying is lack of modern codec support like h265).


i paid for several windows licenses over the years, and would have continued to for years to come if only the codec support had stayed up to date.


anyway, i figured there's never anything new or any official reply in the proper section so i'd address the issue the only place getting attention anymore.

BSPlayer for windows got updated about a month ago. So, unless you are just a spammer, check again before complaining.
As for H265 support, it's working for about 5 years if I am correct.
And, more than H265, which become obsolete, AV1 support was tested:
