Remote Control For BS Player Android

I have BS Player running on an android box playing music off my NAS, works beautifully, since the box has both HDMI and optical, I can turn off the TV while the music keeps playing.

Is there's a way I can control BS Player externally either via a remote app or web interface?That way I wouldn't need to turn on the TV to just change the song selection.

Was hoping there might be some hidden web interface that's not documented or some similar feature in progress.
If there isn't, then might try some VNC solutions then.
