LAN MAC help

I can't get my BSPlayer to connect to my Mac via my wifi.
I have a static IP address set up.
I have sharing on for my Mac.
I can connect my tablet via wifi through ESfile Explorer and I can actually play videos through there to my BSPlayer, but it won't let me play a whole folder non-stop.
It always tells me "getting files" then appears to crash OR it can't find the IP address if I try to use the SFTP. It's weird that it'll connect with ESfile, and play videos through ESFile with BSPlayer, but BSPlayer itself can't connect.

Suggestions?

Does anyone check these forums? Here is a screen grab. My ESFile works fine when I put the info in, but this player doesn't allow it, it errors out:

Your communication sucks. I bought this stupid app and you're doing NOTHING to support it or answer me.

Anyone reading this, go use DicePlayer or MX Video software. The developers don't support it or answer any of your questions or problems.
