Problem playing MPEG2 files using Elecard codec Before this I've used BSplayer for months without any problem, But I've never used BSP for viewing MPEG 2 video, only for view DiVX and MPG1 (VCD). For the SAT card I use ProgDVB (free, www.progdvb.com) as viewer and recorder. This sw install and use Elecard MPEG 2 codec (latest version 2.0 build 2313) to decode received satellite stream. I use latest BSplayer 0.86 build 493 My problem: I record a video (few minutes or hours) at standard PAL 25 fps . This file has extension .MPG and is really MPEG 2 compliant (I've used GSpot to analyze it). I can play it without problem if I use ProgDVB (as player) or WinDVD. But if I use BSPlayer (latest version) the play is terrible slooooow. Sound is correctly synced with video but also it is slooooow. Audio and video are played about at 16 fps instead of 25 fps. I've try to change some parameter in Elecard codec (in menu' "properties") but nothing happened. My PC is a P4 2.4GHZ and CPU load is about 15% The same happen if I use Windows Media 8. WM use Elecard codec and the problem is identical. Elecard has a bug ? Or Bsplayer / WM ? Any idea ? |
