video playback annoyance
I'm having a really annoying video layback problem, and i figured you guys are the best to ask for an answer.
i'm running a radeon9500 128MB, and using bsplayer 085.494 with the latest ffdshow filter, on WinXP+SP1.
Out of all the video playback software i've used, it seems that only bsplayer gives me a clean picture, at least with a couple of fixes depending on mpeg or divx. All the rest either give black pixels randomly on the screen regardless of forma. However with bspalyer, i've found selecting no overlay, and forcing rgb mode solves the black pixel problem better than anything else. However, If II want to watch a divx at a watchable speed, and not load the cpu, i have to switch on overlay1, force rgb, and flip the picture in ffdshow. Has anyone encountered this behaviour before, or know a better workaround? Do you think its a hardware problem, or software?
