Default Streaming Crashes BSplayer

BSplayer version .86 Build 498
How to reproduce error:Resultant error message:
BSPlayer v0.86.498, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00465BE8
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.

The current message in the status bar is "Buffering...". The audio level is somewhere below a half (it's always getting set randomly when bad things happen), and it says 0x0 to the right of the wrench icon like it does when nothing is yet loaded.

Note: if I try to open this stream in ASFRecorder, it gets redirected at least once, taking a few seconds, and then says in the status bar: "reply: 302 - Moved Temporarily"

environment: XP sp1 with a mess of codecs.
