Default Crash at right-click Exit

I played an avi. Just before the end, I switched to Mozilla (1.4b). The movie ended while I was in Mozilla. I alt-tabbed back, right-clicked on bsplayer, and selected close. This:

BSPlayer v0.86.498, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00403FAB
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.

when analyzed with GSpot v2.1, the video has stats:
4cc: div3 name: divx 3 low-motion (codec misconfigured)
directshow reports no errors using AVI Splitter, AVI Decompressor and MPEG Layer-3 Decoder
