movie to VHS Tape

hi
i was just wonderin, if i have a movie on my comp, is it possible to transfer that video through my s-video port which is connected to a vcr, and record it onto a tape. if so, how can i? is there neway of setting bs player so it sends the video to s-video or tv-out port?????????
please help!
