roms is an unknown quantity at this point

okay i found the problem. between the time i hadn't edited the srt files and the time i had, i checked "draw subtitles to Overlaysurface" in options/preferences/subtitles.
the bug comes from there.
there's still a bug. i cant have subtitles on my tv screen at the font size i want.

still makes me a little mad.
