Version 1 and "bsplayer.bsi" files made for versio First of all, congratulations and many thanks for this new version. All my cds are build with .bsi files as it was described for version 0.8. I think it is of high importance to keep it compatible. At present, I saw two problems with it: - It does not read the language name of the audio streams (eg english or french). It takes the name shown in the .avi file (eg audiostream 1 or 2) - It does not take int o account the informations for subtitles (font, color, position). Can you confirm that the .bsi files made for v.0.8 will be kept compatible with V.1 ? Thanks a lot. __________________________________________________ ________ PS: in case it helps, here is a example of the .bsi file as I always write them: Quote:

I completely agree with Laurent - btw Congratulation for version 1.00 :D - Compatibility with previous version of "bsi" files is a must. I got also a lot of DivX with double audio, and i think like me, do many other people :) Thanx a million!

Hi BST, Good to read you !!! Thanks again for your work. I'm pleased to see that the old .ini files will be compatible in v1. I don't know if you have seen the post about the .exe file, so I say it again. The .exe file of version 1 is called bsplay.exe and not bplay.exe as in v0.8. To avoid extra manipulation after installation, it would be great to keep bplay.exe (without the "s") so that all our autorun cds can play automatically. I know that renaming by myself works but it is not very user friendly, especially for people discovering the sofware (and also for my kinds who love to watch movies). Thanks again for everything. I know that ini file are not yet completely supported. Although, I report an other difficulty that I just met: V.1 gives an error if no subtitle is defined while it was working with v0.8: Quote:

The problem is that my collection of cds was made without defining subtitle file when there is none (which seems logical). Regards. |

This is an strange one. I have an NVidia card, and when I activate Dualview to watch both Monitor and TV, bsplayer opens the classical "Active Movie Window" instead of bsplayers one. The worst problem is that I can't use full screen. This only happens if both displays are on (Really I didn't try with TV only). Normal bsplayer window appears if only monitor is activated. |
