[BSplayer 1.00.803]: Problems with ATI videocard & overl

I already posted this problem several times before, and decided that for the sake of the 1.0final release, it should really be fixed now somehow.

The problem has to do with using Overlay on an ATI videocard (ATI Radeon 8500). What happens is that when a movie is playing on the overlay of BSplayer, and one switches for example the primary display from VGA to TV, the overlay turns black. The only way to fix this is completely restarting BSplayer, which is quite annoying. I've also tried to reproduce the problem with others players (GDivX, MediaPlayer, DivX Player etc. etc.) and they DON"T suffer from this problem.

A final fix for this problem would really be nice, but I would also sattle for an additional key, which can just "reset" the overlay again.

I have the same card (DV version), what drivers are you using?

This is the best combination for me:
Inno3D GeForce4 Ti4200 driver: versiune 3.1.4.0
BSplayer: versiune 0.86 b501
With any others until now I've found things .. but this one rulez.

I've Radeon 9600Pro and I can't reproduce your error. Try the latest drivers from http://www.ati.com

I have an ATI Radeon 8500 + Catalyst 3.9. For switching my primary screen I use the ATI hotkeys.
