HELP! Problem with OGG file

When i try to open an OGG files BsPlayer send me on screen this message:

I have installed the OGG codec (reinstalled 2 times) but the problem never change...

I have the same problem with my OGM movies, I'm using the last release, BSPlayer v1 RC1 803.

I tried to install Version 1.00 RC1 Build 803 over Version 1.00 RC1 Build 800 and now it works fine for me.
Maybe for you too.

BSplayer can play OGG files, but I must first open some AVI or MPEG movie before opening OGG.

The problem is not necessarily in the OGG system in itself, but the coordination between OGG and ffdshow (which I shall assume that all of you are using, because it would explain why you're getting the same errors I am.)

I am trying to watch subtitled fansubs, which are in .ogm format and if I use the ffdshow filter, and set (in BSPlayer preferences) to have subtitles enabled and to use the subtitle mixer for OGG files, it still does not load the subtitle mixer, and then when I run the file, as soon as a subtitle would normally come up, it crashes and burns with such glorious messages as:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

So I click close and another window comes up titled Application Error

If I go into the bsplayer preferences and disable subtitles, I get this joyous message when I open a subtitled movie:

However, if I turn off ffdshow, and use the natural codec (DivX or Xvid) with the subtitles enabled, it works fine, the subtitle mixer even loads up. Again, if the subtitles are disabled, it does not work at all, same message as before.

So, Quick Fix: Disable ffdshow.
Lengthy Fix: Figure out why ffdshow/ogg doesn't load the subtitle mixer.

In my case I'm using the original DivX (DivX 5.1.1) filter and the filter for subtitles in ogm files.
And Bsplayer still crashes when i try to open an ogm with subs.
In my last post I said that installing the last version of bsplayer over the first release of version 1 it works, but i'm afraid that it isn't true.
