That behaviour is obviously that of a virus ! I am 100 % sure of it, or (less likely) that of a memory problem. I found this problem on several computer (with lots of other programs). Usually it's CIH of FUNLOVE, sometimes Opaserv does this. Try to scan your sistem and if it's clean try to be more specific with details !
