Default Seek troubles with latest version

This latest version has seek problems. If the video is pause and stepped frame by frame it will either revert back to teh beginning or some other random location in the video. Seems to be with latest version only.

Normaly this is not player's problem, but codec's. It is responsable for the way is done the fast forward and rewind function. Some codecs don't support that. Second problem is created by the key frames distribution. You can't FF or REW only at a keyframe only. If you have keyframe at 10 seconds, that is what you can do.

Hi. I'm having a similar problem with the most recent version. Fast forward works perfect, but fast rewind does not. On an MPEG4 AVI when you hit fast rewind, often the time will alternate between where it really should be and about twice that time, while the picture shows correctly. If hit play when it shows the right time it continues playing at the right place, but if you hit play when it shows the time later in the file it will start playing there. Now, if you do this with an MPEG2, rather than go back and forth between the two different times it'll stay at the latter time, and when you release the key it'll continue playing at the latter (wrong) time. With AVI's, the problem occurs about 85% of the time, with MPEG2's, all the time.
