me too

I have the same problem and I think it has something to do with installing SP1 for windows XP. Because I used te be able to play wmv files fine in Winamp and BSPlayer but after installing the SP they will only play in wmplayer. Maybe microsoft has somehow blocked other players from playing wmv files.
