Annoyng problem...bsplayer look down pc with all video

I'm using Bsplayer for a long time.
So, I've downloaded the new version and I've this problem: I can't see for a long time all video because the screen goes black and the pc is blocked. This apper for all the video, in a window screen or in a full screen.
I've tried to unistall and install the latest codec but the problem remain.
My system configuration is:
Win 98 S.E.
AMD 1200
512 Mb
BsPlayer 1.02
The latest codec downloaded
The problem doesn't appear with the other program like windows mediaplayer or vlc.
Please, send me any suggestion because I love this program and I don't want to return to use wmp or vlc. Thanks

try playing with overlay modes in bsplayer. also check video drivers

sorry, whatt overlay?
Now is setting on overlay 1 but there are overlay 2 and overlay RGB

Just try all possible modes, and see which works.

Delete BSplayer.{user_account}.xml (in BSplayer's folder), maybe that helps.
