Another ASF, WMV problem

I know that this problem is very common but

1. I had BSPlayer and everything went just fine. (It plays asf and wmv)
2. I unnistalled old WMPlayer and tried to install new version
3. This new version didnt work so I unnistalled the new version
5. I put back the old version of WMPlayer
4. I run BSPlayer and when I want to open wmv or asf files it says
"CANNOT OPEN THE FILE!!!"

WHERE IS THE PROBLEM???
I tried to install wmp8 and wmp9 codecs but NOTHING. I tied to reinstall WMplayer or BSPlayer bu NOTHING. I dont know what else to do... :evil:
