All my songs saved as BMPlayer files. I downloaded BSPlayer somewhat 1 or 1 1/2 years ago because I wanted to subtitle a few of my dvd's. I couldn't figure out how to do it and uninstalled it. All my songs however are still saved as bsplayer files. It doesn't cause problems for use when I want to listen for it, but here's the catch. I got a new MP3 player which came with a program that will convert my .wmv's only to .smv, which in turn allows me to store more songs on my MP3. I however cannot convert them because my computer says they are saved as BSPlayer files. Putting .wmv behind the name at Properties doesn't work. I know the READ THIS FIRST POST says that I will have to say what version it is, but it's been a long time ago and I can't remember. Thanks for your help. |

MP3 files are not WMV files. First of all, MP3 is an audio file (MPEG 1 Layer 3) while WMV are video files (Windovs Media Video). You cannot convert an audio file to a video one. So, I asume you brougth an MP4 player. To convert diffrent audio and video formats, from one to another you can find lots of tools on the internet. To convert them has nothing to do with the fact that the extensions are allocated to a player or another one. Probably your converter is not so great but this tool: http://www.soft29.com/freeware/smv_converter.htm seems to be well accepted by many users. As for the extensions. Open WMP and from tools menu, allocate it all the extensions can handle. |
