Error skip feature

I got a cool program called FDShow (or something like that) that controls brightness, gamma, blur, sharpen and much else in the divx movies... the best part is a feature that makes the codecs skip bad frames, so you can see your movies without jumping scenes to not crash.

But, since this app works on the codecs (and not on the apps), it makes some other programs crash on me... like PowerDVD and AVIPreview.

All other features as dispensable... but i would like to see this "Bad Frame Skipping" on the BSPLayer. Any way!?

I am using ffdshow too, mostly because of the bad frame skipping.
But I do not use the other options to change/improve picture quality.
I also do use PowerDVD and I do not have any problems.
Sometimes I also use AVIPreview which works fine too.
So I think you might want to try some other settings in ffdshow.

AFAK bsplayer ver. 500 has the ability to play damaged files (at some level). I am not sure but it seems that the codec itself limits the ability to play or skip bad frames. I also use avipreview and works OK. Use the latest version. Maybe this function will be developed in further builds of bsplayer.

dANM... no good...

I´ve reinstalled it, and, even withou any option selected, my AVI Preview crashs every time i open it (i use the latest version of avi preview).
I guess i will have to wait until they put this feature on a new BSPlayer.
