Scrolling video titles

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who hates scrolling filenames, but I sure do. I find myself using the "crystal" skin simply because it doesn't display the filename at all, rather than using one that scrolls the filename back and forth. I like to be able to know what file is being played, but the first several characters are enough for me and I absolutely hate the scrolling text. Is there a way to turn it off on any skin? Can it be made that way? Thanks!
