There's a better way for that...
Copy the temporary .DAT file (to have a backup). Rename the file from .DAT to .AVI open it. If it doesn't work - you can open 99.9 % of all video files with VirtualDub. It's also the best and fastest videoediting program around - and best of all, it's 100 % FREE! Get it at www.virtualdub.com Cheers, Smarties :P

After rename your dat file to avi, you can also use if the avi don't work a simple tool call divxfix ( http://www.doom9.org ), it allows to watch partially donwload avi file...
