Default .SSA Subtitle Support.

.ssa is a common subtitle format for anime movies. Please add support for this format.

Thanks for the best player.

Default C++ code for ssa subtititles

Well.

For a slower computer VOBSUB doesn't work well, then please add .ssa support.

If you want the vobsub is open source and you can see the code and add the ssa support.

Thanks

I think support for *.ssa subtitle format would be a good thing too.

As mentioned above it is common with anime titles, but it has lot's of advantages making it the best subtitle format at the moment ( at least in my opinion).
Some other players (e.g. Micro DVD Player) already support this format and because of that fansubbers are distributing their releases directly with ssa-subs.

Adding support for this format shouldn't be such a bother anyway.

Default Yeah...

Yeah... i also want .SSA support. The subs look really great, with a amazing art design and some interesting options as showing the subs over a black square (I use it to "remove" the hardcoded subs of a DivX).

Is it planned to add .SSA support?

Any news on this topic? .SSA is far superior to other subtitle formats in many ways (scripts can specify font family, size, colours, encoding, position... supports styles...) It's like html vs. simple text. I'd really love to see BSplayer add support for it
