Default MPEG2 Playback Needed

There are about, hmm... ZERO players out there worth using for SVCD playback.. if you want to wait for the loadtime of course use something like PowerDVD or WinDVD (or some other DVD variant), but when it comes to cool fast simple players like BSplayer, GDiVX, Susami2k, or any of these great simple players its just a shame they can't handle MPEG2 movies. There are a few codecs out there that claim to support MPEG2 and I have tried them all, none work in players. I hope this feature can be implemented in BSplayer, I feel it would become a great program and surely a #1 download then.

thanks!

Default MPEG2 Playback

Actually it's Microsoft MPEG2 Demultiplexer fault.
Version 1.00 may have it's own MPEG splitter.
You can try Elecard MPEG2 decoder and splitter it works with SVCD.

Default MPEG2 Playback

Hi,

MPEG-2 Playback at BSPlayer worked with InterVideo splitter & filters V2.3 for me. Since I installed Ligos GoMotion filters, BSPlayer doesn't play them anymore (unknown file format). However, GraphEdit builds a correct filter chain and plays well. The above mentioned MS MPEG Splitter has neither been involved with both these filter chains.

Bye
Thomas
