Default Windows 7 Issues - rendering split

So ever since I upgraded to windows 7 bsplayer has been giving me some issues. First it did this thing where it started to lag or stutter during playback and I discovered that bsplayer had some issues with aero so I just switched to a non-aero win7 theme.

Another problem I've noticed though is that there seems to be something wrong with the rendering maybe? I'm not sure exactly how to describe it but every now and then it appears as if the video has not rendered properly and there is a split horizontally across the screen. It's kind of hard to describe.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so how to fix it?

Thanks!

adicoto is on a distinguished road
Default

Some details about your harware will be good (CPU, memory, video card, drivers for videocard up to date)
I am also using windws 7 and EVR is working well as rendering methode, but some filters won't be used as under XP. I personally use internal renderer (default) as rendering methode and it disables AERO while watching a movie and have no problems with it.
When playing such a file (with the described issues) which filters are used ? (open the file -> rightclick -> options -> filters)

Default

I'm using evr. I tried switching to the default, but it said aero was still enabled, which is odd, bc I am using the classic them not an aero theme. I will try using that option that makes it disable aero when bsplayer is running though.

I am running a Dell with windows 7 premium 64 bit AMD X6 2.8ghz processor, 4 gb of ram and an ATi 5450 video card.

Thanks for all your help.
