1. All the downloaded codecs are placed in BS.Player installation dir (or in AppData folder if you choose to save your settings there) If you want to backup the codecs, simply copy the related folders and restore them in the same place once you reinstall BS.Player 2. You can run "codecmanager.exe" executable whenever you want from BS.Player installation dir. (not all the codecs got updated often though) Anyway ffdshow covers more than 90% of all the possible situations
