Default HOW TO MAKE SUBTITLES WORK. HELP ME

I've downloaded some subtitles in .srt format. Now, what I must do to view this subtitles?? Please hepl me.

like olaf said and you have to install vobsub!

not necessarily: bsplayer can display MicroDVD, Subviewer and SubRip subtitles

.srt files are most of the time subrip format subtitles, which is amongst the formats bsplayer is aware of.

vobsub is needed for vobsub subtitles, ssa subtitles and maybe some rare formats (sami...)
