MatrixMixer / AC3-Filter How can i use the AC3-Filter or the MatrixMixer (http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/ac3filter_eng.html) with bsplayer??? It works in no way (maybe because the avi-files are with mp3-codec???) Can someone help me? |

I have exactly the same problem, with the Matrix Mixer. WMP does use it BSP doesn't. I thought if I make changes to bsfilters.sam it would be helpfull, but it wasn't - also tried renaming the file to dat and erasing the :'s. But no success. I got AC3filter working though. Worked after I installed it and rebooted the system. Only for avi's with AC3 audio of course. |

You have to add this line to bspfilters.sam AddFilter {AEFA5024-215A-4fc7-97A4-1043C86FD0B8},MatrixMixer and then RENAME bspfilters.sam to bspfilters.DAT This works with BSPlayer 0.86, haven't tried with v1.0. You can download the working bspfilters.dat file here: http://www.hot.ee/reameez/bspfilters.dat |

Installed succesfully matrix-mixer. Is just an filter for audio streams, derivated, it seems, from AC3filter. No need to add in bspfilters. Working for MPEG2 and MPEG4 audio streams. Can replace AC3filter if you enable this option. Interesting thing that you can't use the AC3filter, mr Guest. I never had any problem with it. But it works only with AC3 streams, not with MP3. Seems that is the role for matrix-mixer.
