0.86.497 However, some mpg files still give me an "invalid file format" msg box with 496 and 497, while 494 plays them. I hope you can track down the problem soon ;) Regards, Halle |

Hi. I'm just uploading 2 files, "Thumb Wars (working mpeg1).mpg" and "Thumb Wars (non-working mpeg2).mpg". According to GSpot 2.2, the non-working files have "Video Src Type"="MPEG2_VIDEO" in common, whereas working mpg files are identified with "Video Src Type"="MPEG1Payload" (this was the case for all files I tested so far). Regards and thanks alot, Halle |

It looks you can't play MPEG2 files. Do you have installed some MPEG2 decoder ? |

Ah, I have just edited my previous post ;) (I am still uploading though, as I only have a 28k connection..) I do have an mpeg splitter/codec installed, as GSpot can render both files and Windows Media Player and BSPlayer 0.85.494 play them fine, too. cu Halle Update: Upload done :) Filters used by BSP 494 for decoding mpeg2 files (all from k-lite codec pack 2.03): Ligos Audio Decoder 4.0.0.77 Ligos Video Decoder 4.0.0.77 Ligos MPEG Splitter 4.0.0.77 |
