adicoto is on a distinguished road

If the movies are mpeg 1 format you can encrease brightness only from your video card drivers. If they are avi then right-click on the movie window, choose properties and after that click on xvid decoder or xvid decoder (depending on codec tipe) It will pop up a configurantion window. For divx you have 3 labels: post processing...., quality......, help...
Choose quality settings and there you have a slider for brightness.
For xvid the slider is in the first window.
