er... is it just one (or a few) video clips or is it all your movies ??
if it's just a few, it may be a misconfigured codec
when playing your clip, right click on the movie window, go to properties, select ms mpg4 video codec (I think it will be this one)
reset its settings
[it could be something else, but this is my guess]
