media file icons

Would it be too much to ask to design some generic style icons for file associations?

Being a bit of a designer myself, file association icons with the program name (in this case a big 'BS') is a big no-no!

What you want is a film strip or something... also they should use neutral colours that don't clash with other colours that may or may not be present in the explorer gui.

There is a very good (IMO) icon design guide over on MSDN....ok its a microsoft thing, but ya know, not everything they do is terrible.
