Default CD ROM will not play SVCD

Hello

I have a slight problem. I recorded a show on tv and I edited out the commericals. I then used Nero to burn the program as a SVCD. I can play that file at home in my Apex DVD player, or my computer.

However, at work I cannot play the file. At work I only have a CDROm not a DVD ROM.

I have DL and installed the newest BS player, however it still will not play. The only way I got it to play was re-ripping the SVCD file with Isobuster and making it a mpg file. This is a waste of time to do this.

Is there a program that will allow a regular CD Rom to play SVCD files.

At work we are running windows 2000.

I need some help

Default

The CD-Rom can't read the CD or you can't play the files from it ?
If is the firs case, there is only one solution. Change the drive.
If is the second, install an MPEG2 decoder or a dvdplaying software.
