walterS is an unknown quantity at this point
Default What movie format to use for display on all windows versions

We want to put a 45Mb movie on a cd business card.
What movie format and which version of the bsplayer should I use so all users of the cd business card can see the movie on all widows platforms ?
I believe support for windows NT is most problematic.

We plan to use HWlauncher.
Is there a possibility to customize the startup page for HWlauncher to a full page?

Thanks,
WalterS

adicoto is on a distinguished road

BSPlayer can't run on WinNT. It requires DirectX 7 at least.
On the other hand, is a problem on the hardware configuration. An DivX encoded movie may need a CPU of at least 600 MHz to run smoothly. But an MPEG 1 work ok on an 166 MHz with MMX CPU and an MPEG2 on 300 MHz. Best quality vs hardware configuration goes to MPEG2 files. But if all configurations you intend to run the movie are above those requirements then DivX/XviD coded movies are smaller and wit a verry high quality.
BSPlayer can start in full screen, no problem.
