Default wireless network?

I use bsplayer on my laptop, and store files on another machine on my network. It works perfect every time when I have a network cable plugged in. However, if I'm networking on WiFi, bsplayer freezes when I try to open a file.

It seems like the network transfer rate is between 1 and 2 Mbps during playback, and the same files play in other players over WiFi, so it doesn't seem like this would be a bandwith problem.

Any ideas on why WiFi isn't working with bsplayer?
