Default XVid decoder

Hi there,

This is not specifically related to BSPlayer.

I've got both Xvid and DivX decoder installed, but the DivX decoder filter is always used in movie playback in BSPlayer. I even re-installed Xvid and opted to have Xvid play all DIVX movies, but the AVIs are still played using the DivX decoder filter (as indicated by the BSPlayer "Options->Filters" menu)

Any suggestions?

Also - a suggestion for BSPlayer developers: it would be nice if I could select my preferred decoder from within BSPlayer.

Thanks!

Yes, read item (4) of my Help2Help-post (especially the part following "Also install XviD-codec?")

Check under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Filter management.
