Default Error: (VRM9) Not available on this system..

I'm a complete noob when it comes to video players, but I recently installed BSplayer (latest version) and started watching an XviD movie, only to notice some slight tearing on the screen.

This was annoying me so I tried VRM7 and the playback was smooth and tearless.

As far as I know VRM9 should work fine on my system too, since I have DX9.0c and an ATI 9800AIW (DX9) capable gfx card, but for some reason I get the Topic Title message.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.
