Default Subtitles stay on the sides of the movie

When I watch a video with 4:3 format on a 16:9 screen then those longer lines in subtitles are partially displayed on the sides of the video.
That's not the problem, the problem is that while the subtitles on the video are displayed correctly, the parts that are on the sides stay there even after next line comes - then they're overlaping each other.

Actually the option "auto split lines that are too long" helps with that since then all the subtitles are displayed on the video, but that's only a workaround for the problem.

Also it would be nice to be able to set the subtitle lines width if "auto split lines that are too long" is active.

You should try "resize font if line is too long"
