By "isn't working" do you mean that you are not able to start the program or it doesn't play any file ? As you have read, latest builds of BSplayer are bundled with adware. It is possible that your spyware/AV program blocked the instalation of BSPlayer. Try to delete webtech folder in Program Files and do a clean install. Try first with 1.37 build, it might work better.

You can try to re-register quartz.dll and reinstall your codecs, it's not a problem relateed to BSplayer but to the codecs installed. Can you provide more information regarding you codecs, filters used to decode the video etc.? Thake a look at BSPeter's "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING" post.

As I said you before, in my opinion the problem is not related to BSplayer, but to your codecs. Have you read BSPeter's post? There you can also find a link to previous BSplayer versions, take a look at item (a)

You have amixture of codecs, I think of old releases. Green image is usually due an old XviD decoder. So, try to update your codecs (DivX and XviD) and when installing don't assign DivX for generic MPEG4 and don't assign XviD to DivX files.
