Default Using BSPlayer with the CoreAVC decoder - impossible?

I've looked in the options but havnt succeded in getting BSPlayer to play .mkv files encoded with H.264 and AC3 to play with the CoreAVC decoder.

BSPlayer closes 1 sec after i try open the .mkv file. I have the matroska lite pack installed and can play the file fine in Media Player Classic.

Programs used:
CoreAVC 1.0
BSPlayer 1.30

Anyone got this to work somehow?

Old free CoreAVC v0.0.0.4 works with BSPlayer (v1.36). Tested Matroska + AC3 media stream. Are you sure it's the CoreAVC decoder causing problems? Any buggy Matroska splitters maybe? Have you tried to use FFDSHOW (libavcodec) to decode H264?

I also have tested Core AVC decoder, v1.0. Some x264 files do work, some don't (avi, not mkv). And still the moonlight logo on the upper left corner. I've made same post in Core AVC forums but no answer yet.

Let's hope some codec pack will include a cracked version, like the MPEG-2 decoder. :)

Default Strange CoreAVC 0.0.0.2 works but not 1.0.0.0

I got ahold of v0.0.0.2 and this work fine with the same BSplayer version that didnt work with 1.0.0.0

So this must be a CoreAVC issue?

Just tested on an x264 HD 720p file with AAC, mkv container. If you don't have ffdshow and 3ivx installed CoreAVC works ok. I had to uninstall ffdshow and 3ivx to realise that. Using last BSPlayer 1 build 1.42-833. Soon to be tested on BSPlayer 2 (I don't have it yet)
Tested also on an MP4 file, working OK.
Gabest mkv splitter v1.0.2.9 and Gabest MP4 splitter 1.0.0.2 were used.
PS. Do you have something in common with "callingallfreaks" ? :)
