Default First time I had a performance problem

BSplayer version 2.10, Build 939,10,Jul 2006

I recently ripped a few dvds using DVDFab Decrypter.
.Vob extensions.

I tried playing it in BSplayer (this new version I got tonight and my old one), and it was partly choppy. It was like frames were missing. I thought I had made a bad rip my of dvds but when using the basic Windows Media player, it played smoothly.

I'm on my 6th Dvd now and I'm getting the same results. Fine with Windows Media player 10, but choppy with BSplayer.

Bad codecs? I wouldn't think so.
I don't know video settings all that well. Is there anything under preferences that comes close to fixing this type of problem? I see a number of options for rendering. Would this be it?
