pohc is an unknown quantity at this point
Default HP NC8430 15"4 screen and 1680x1050 resolution.

I have the laptop that is mentioned in the Subject. But when i run bsplayer i get the sound but no picture. I tried changing the resolution ( i must mention that there isn't an option of 1680x1050 resolution ), try changing the aspect ratio and nothing worked. I am using Win Vista. After trying all the possibillities, in one combination i got the picture but i can't get it back to previous state when I had the picture. Did anyone had a problem like that before? Pls help!

I have divx xvid an ac3 codec installed. As i mentioned above that from some luck i got the picture to worl but i dont remember what kind of resolution did i pick and what kind of aspect ratio did i set. So if someone has a solution i would be very happy. That is one thing though. I cant fine 1680x1050 resolution in bs player....

So overlay mixer isn't working for you ?
You don't need to select any resolution. If your desktop is configured at that resolution, just press F, the picture will get full screen, using the AR the file have. If you are not satisfied with the AR, you can also add custom AR or cycle through the default ones, using Shift + 1, +2 and +3
